Lead Your Business with Confidence—Without Always Putting Yourself Last

You’re an entrepreneur, business owner, or leader balancing the demands of business, family, and personal growth.

  • Maybe you feel like you’re always busy but not truly making progress.
  • Maybe you're doing well but want to scale your business while maintaining balance.
  • Or perhaps you’re successful on the outside but exhausted on the inside.

No matter where you are, one thing is clear:

You want to grow your business and leadership without burning out.

You don’t have to push harder. You need a smarter, more sustainable way forward.

The Secret to Sustainable Success: Well-Being

Hard work has gotten you this far, but if you want to reach the next level—without exhaustion or overwhelm—it’s time to focus on well-being as a strategy for success.

Research shows that entrepreneurs and leaders who prioritize well-being are more productive, resilient, and effective.

  • They make better decisions with clarity and confidence.
  • They grow their business without working 24/7.
  • They enjoy success without sacrificing their health or relationships.

If you’re tired of feeling stuck, stressed, or stretched too thin—or if you’re ready to unlock new levels of growth with ease—coaching will help you create the clarity, confidence, and systems you need to thrive.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What Is Coaching?

Coaching is a tool that is used to empower individuals and help them reach their goals; it is a structured conversation between the Coach and the Client.

During a coaching session, your coach will walk by your side to help you to reach your ultimate goal and aspirations. They will listen to you, ask questions, find out what your challenges are, and inspire you to reach that end goal.

Effective coaching is non-directive, which helps you to discover your own path forward. You will be encouraged to make decisions and take responsibility for these decisions.

“People are more convinced by reasons they discovered themselves.”

- Blaise Pascal

Here are my favourite definitions of Coaching:

“Coaching is a highly effective means of unlocking the potential of the individual in order to maximise their performance.”

- Sir John Whitmore

“Coaching is a partnership between the Coach and the Client in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires the client to maximise personal and professional potential. It is designed to facilitate the creation and development of personal, professional or business goals and to develop and carry out a strategy and plan for achieving those goals.”

- International Coaching Federation (ICF)

“Personal coaching is a collaborative solution-focused, results-orientated and systematic process in which the coach facilitates the enhancement of work performance, life experience, self-directed learning and personal growth of the coachee.”

- Association for Coaching (AC)

Q: What is the difference between a coach, therapist, counselor, mentor and consultant?

Coaching is sometimes confused with therapy, counseling, mentoring, and consulting. The following examples can assist in distinguishing between these helping professions and in identifying the type of professional support that is most suitable for your specific needs.

A therapist typically works with individuals who have past traumas or experiences that are seriously affecting their daily lives and functioning. For instance, a therapist helps clients delve into their past to uncover obstacles hindering their ability to drive a car.

A counselor usually supports individuals experiencing significant distress that is impacting their daily life. For example, a counselor listens to a client's concerns and anxieties related to driving a car.

A mentor is someone who guides individuals seeking direction, drawing from their own experience and knowledge in a specific area. For instance, a mentor might share personal experiences and provide practical advice to help clients become better drivers.

A consultant collaborates with individuals or groups looking to identify and solve challenges they are facing. For example, a consultant offers clear, logical advice on how to improve one's driving skills.

A coach works with clients who aim to progress in life and achieve their goals. For instance, a coach encourages and supports clients in becoming the best driver they can be.

If you commence a series of coaching sessions and it is deemed that coaching is not the correct support mechanism for you at this moment in time, this will be discussed with you directly to find a suitable solution to support your onward journey.

Q: Is coaching right for me?

Discover the key indicators that can help you determine if coaching is the right path for your personal and professional growth.

  • There is a gap between where you are now to where you want to be
  • You feel stuck and you put off making decisions or fail to stick to those decisions you have made
  • You feel that currently you are not reaching your potential and feeling fulfilled
  • You feel you don’t have the skills, resources or confidence to get something complete

If you answer yes to any of these, then coaching can support you to get to where you want to go.

However, coaching is not for everyone.

Coaching Is NOT for You If..

  • You are not willing to initiate any changes or actions to improve your situation.
  • It's important to note that individuals dealing with serious mental or emotional issues should address these concerns through appropriate interventions such as counseling or therapy before entering into a coaching relationship.

Coaching Is for You If...

  • You are ready to commit to improving your life and your results.
  • You are ready to put in the work for things to change.
  • You are ready to invest in yourself.

If this sounds like you, I'd be happy to work with you!

Q: How will the sessions work?

To commence the coaching programme, we would carry out an intake session where we would settle into the coaching relationship and talk about your goals.

The following sessions will follow a 6-part process:

  • Review of the previous session actions
  • Talk about the overall goal and the manageable stepping stones that you could take to move towards your overall goal
  • Discuss the reality of the situation for you, and surface the understanding of the deeper situation
  • Consider all ideas and options, and challenge your current way of thinking
  • Shape the way forwad and what you are going to commit to doing
  • Conclusions from the session
Q: What can I expect from coaching?

You can expect to be asked questions. You can expect to be listened to in a totally confidential and non-judgemental environment.

You can expect to be challenged in your current way of thinking to find the paths that make you feel more congruent with aspects of your life.

This will fundamentally change the way of your current thinking about certain challenges, locating unhelpful thought patterns and discovering a more resourceful state.

You can expect to discover manageable steps and agree on some actions to move you from where you are now to where you want to be.

Q: Where do you conduct your coaching sessions?

We meet online via Zoom or WhatsApp. If you're located nearby, you have the option to book a private space for in-person coaching, with the cost of the room covered by you.

Q: What countries do you serve?

I coach clients from different countries. You can be coached anywhere as long as you have privacy and a good internet connection on your device.

Coaching can be done in English or in Filipino language.

Q: Is coaching confidential?

A coaching session is confidential. I comply with the Coaching Code of Conduct. Please refer to the Coaching Agreement for our policy on Confidentiality. I also abide by GDPR (data protection) and ICF Code of Ethics.

Q: Will you solve my problems?

I am certain that I can help you if you are willing to do your part. However, as a coach, I do not solve your problems for you. I believe that you have all the answers that you need and I assist by tapping into your internal resources to get you from the place where you currently are to where you would prefer to be.

Q: Are you qualified and insured?

Yes to both. I hold a Diploma in Life & Personal Performance Coaching and a number of coaching certifications. I am a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF). You can learn about my background and credentials on my About page.

Q: How long does coaching take?

A coaching session normally lasts 60-90 minutes. I offer a 3-month coaching program. Three months is long enough to help you achieve meaningful, lasting results in areas that truly matter to you. This is an opportunity for a deeper, ongoing exploration of any topic you choose, allowing for sustained growth and progress. After three months, we can revisit your progress and discuss whether you’d like to continue with another coaching program. Our coaching relationship can continue for as long as it aligns with your needs and goals.

Q: How flexible are the scheduling options?

My recommended frequency of coaching sessions is every 1-2 weeks.

The interval between sessions allows you to schedule coaching around your existing commitments so you can focus on your work, family, and other responsibilities. You also book the sessions on my calendar ahead of time so you can manage your schedule proactively.

Q: Is coaching only for individuals on a 1:1 basis?

No, I also offer coaching for couples, teams, or groups. Kindly email us at hello@clardooncoaching.com for inquiries. Couples coaching sessions run for 90-minutes each.

Q: How do I pay?

You can pay via bank transfer or directly through the website. When we both agree that we want to work with each other, I will send you the information to complete your payment.

Q: Do you offer refunds?

Any fees paid by the Client to the Coach are strictly non-refundable (with exception to statutory consumer rights and laws). Kindly refer to the Coaching Agreement for our policy on Refunds and Termination.

That is why I offer a FREE 30-minute Initial Consultation so you can have a taste of coaching and to see if we have good chemistry.

I also send out a feedback form after each session so you can immediately give me information on what worked best for you and what didn’t, as well as your recommendations so I can serve you better. With your help, I gain valuable insights to refine and further customise my coaching approach for you, aligning it with your needs and goals. This way, we can ensure a more effective and satisfying coaching experience for you.

So, why don’t I offer refunds? Coaching is a collaborative process that requires dedication and effort from both the coach and the client. I am committed to providing the best support to help you achieve your goals. Offering refunds can have a negative impact on YOUR commitment. If you know that a refund is available, you may not fully engage in the sessions, or you may not be fully accountable for the actions you commit to do. With no refunds, you have a greater personal investment and commitment to your success, which is what we both want.

Please note that online courses and other services have their own refund policies outlined on their respective pages.

The Time to Act is Now

Success doesn’t have to come at the cost of your well-being. With the right support, you can expand your impact, become a stronger leader, and create a life that feels as good as it looks.

Let’s build a smarter, more sustainable path forward—so you can thrive in both business and life.
